Please allow us to introduce ourselves and explain our services. We are John and Joe Young and our company is H.E.L.P. (H2a/b Employer Labor Programs). H.E.L.P. assists employers in processing paper work necessary to hire seasonal temporary foreign labor, under both the H2A and H2B programs. Currently we assist several companies in Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, New York, Massachusetts, Virginia, Arkansas, Michigan and Missouri
Briefly the process consists of H.E.L.P. filing a Job Order on behalf of the employer with the Dept. of Labor. We do the necessary advertising, and track the paperwork through the Dept. of Labor. We file the necessary papers with the Immigration Service, and arrange recruitment and delivery of workers to the work site. The process requires employers to give preference to U.S. workers and offer a wage that is prevailing in the job in the area of employment. If not enough U.S. workers are found the employer is certified for foreign workers to fill the need. The process takes about 50 days for H2A and 120 days for DOL approval for H2B, plus 120 days for Immigration, unless (expedited only 14 days).
